Become a Cadwgan Trust Member
Any individual supporting the Objects of YCA Cadwgan BPT can apply at any time to join the Trust as a member.
The nominal annual subscription for a calendar year is £2.
Membership is due for renewal on 1st January in each year and will lapse if not renewed within three months.
Members are encouraged to complete Direct Debits to ensure that their memberships do not lapse.
An applicant should complete a Membership Application Form and return it to the Trust.
Alternatively, please click here to visit the Cardigan Castle website and purchase your membership directly. Purchasing via the website will result in you receiving a membership form via email.
The application will be considered at the following monthly Trustees’ meeting, and, if approved, membership will take effect immediately.
This does not entitle a Trust member to free entry to Cardigan Castle except to attend General Meetings.
Cardigan Castle Volunteers are entitled to free annual entry to Cardigan Castle but must complete Membership Application Forms and pay subscriptions as above in order to become members of YCA Cadwgan BPT.
To minimise costs communication with members (including the notice of the Annual General Meeting) will normally be by email.
All individuals who are members of YCA Cadwgan BPT on the day that the Notice of a General Meeting is sent out are entitled to attend that General Meeting and to vote on resolutions put to the General Meeting.
How to Donate
Donating to the Cadwgan Building Preservation Trust is a positive way to support the preservation and vibrant future of Cardigan Castle. Here’s how you can contribute:
To donate directly by Bank Transfer or Standing Order please contact the Trust directly to arrange a bank transfer or set up a recurring donation via standing order. The Trust can provide the necessary account details.
If you’re visiting Cardigan Castle, you can donate in person at the gift shop where there is a collection box and if you’re a UK taxpayer, make sure to ask about Gift Aid when visiting the Castle. This allows the Trust to claim an additional 25p for every £1 donated, at no extra cost to you.
For specific details on donating, reach out directly to the Trust via the contact information on this website. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference in preserving the history and community spirit of Cardigan Castle.
